    **Minimum requirements:**

    + Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

    + 10+ years of experience in market analysis, product definition, and specification development for gas sensor technologies

    + Deep knowledge of MOX, NDIR, thermal conductivity, photoacoustic, and PM2.5 sensors

    **Overview**

    Provide on-going support for the administration of the core system applications and perform operational tasks such as monitoring system resources and perform routine maintenance tasks in support of 24x7 life cycle applications to include on-call support. Work location is hybrid with periodic customer site work activities. Must be willing to work nights, have a Security+ certification, and an active Top Secret clearance.

    **Responsibilities**

    **Position Description:**

    In this role you will: Provide support to Background Investigation System in both the Production and Test environments. Support and validate the developer’s deployments in both the Production and Test environments. Assist other Admins in working on ServiceNOW tickets assigned to our group. Work with other Admins to closely monitor multiple applications and systems to ensure files process completely and correctly. Assist in documentation of standard operating procedures. Work with other groups to assist in remediating issues.

    **Position Requirements:**

    + Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations

    + Plan, coordinate, and implement network/system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware

    + Provides regular monitoring and analysis regarding short and long-range planning for in-house systems

    + Prepares or ensures that appropriate documentation exists, including operational instructions.

    + Writes or modifies basic scripts to resolve performance problems and automate administration tasks

    + Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes

    + Ability to work onsite as needed at one of several DCSA sites. Locations consist of (Quantico, VA; Ft Meade, MD; Boyers PA)

    **Daily Activities:**

    + Monitor multiple systems for files being received and processed successfully

    + Monitor ticketing system (ServiceNOW) for requests to be worked on

    + Share information and status of on-going work that crosses over shifts

    **Qualifications**

    + Bachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years of system administration experience (or commensurate experience)

    + MUST have a Security+ certification

    + Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously

    + Demonstrated ability to complete tasking with minimal management oversight

    + Three years of demonstrated experience involving identification, evaluation and resolution of application-level production issues observed or elevated to the group for resolution

    + Three years of demonstrated support of Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environments

    + Three years of demonstrated professional experience supporting a Linux OS production environment

    + Three years of demonstrated professional experience supporting Oracle SQL in a production environment

    + Three years of experience with Microsoft Office products with demonstrated intermediate level expertise

    + Willingness and flexibility to perform shift work to include third-shift responsibilities

    + Minimum of one year of experience with ServiceNow ticketing system

    + US Citizenship required (no exceptions)

    + Clearance required: Active Top Secret clearance

    Posted Pay Range

    The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
