**About the Role:**

A web developer is responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of all of the Bank’s web properties from all technical aspects and according to the Bank’s specifications.

+ Work with our copywriters, designers, and external teams in a fast-paced environment to continuously develop amazing new experiences for our customers

+ Support existing websites and applications, including the development of new features using the latest web technologies

+ Develop new web applications and features, from gathering requirements to providing documentation for end users

+ Work with customers when issues require escalation to the web team

+ Troubleshoot escalations and develop fixes to bugs

+ Participate in Agile Scrum, attending the daily standup and planning, driving features to done and collaboratively working in a team environment

+ Other responsibilities as assigned

+ Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes

+ Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations that apply to your position.

**About You:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Two years of related experience

+ Understanding of web site development, administration, and security best practices

+ Expertise in web development technologies like PHP, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

+ Experience with object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures

+ Ability to think critically to troubleshoot escalations and develop fixes to bugs

+ Knowledge of DOM traversal/manipulation and event capturing using JavaScript

+ Passionate about customers as people

+ Builds a deep understanding of customer needs by speaking with and supporting them

+ Loves to learn and improve

+ Prefers direct feedback and uses it to improve

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Excellent presentation, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences..

**Work Style:**

Umpqua Bank offers a Flexible Workplace Program and this opportunity comes with the Full Office work style which is working in office from a designated company location five days weekly.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $64,000.00-$120,00.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.

Your Responsibilities:

+ Represent and evangelize the Nucamp brand in your local tech community, supporting Nucamp's social mission.

+ Contribute your expertise and passion for growing your local tech community while building your network of business partners, bootcamp-curious individuals, workshop attendees, and prospective students.

+ Partner with local businesses, non-profit organizations, high schools, and colleges to offer coding education to their constituents.

+ Host and teach free workshops in your community (at least monthly) to introduce bootcamp-curious adults to coding concepts and help them learn about bootcamp options.

+ Nurture your contacts both individual and corporate or non-profit to create a continuous stream of workshop attendees.

+ Follow up with workshop attendees through registration to graduation, keeping them motivated to complete their learning journey while being responsive to their needs.

Skills:

+ We're seeking individuals with 1+ year of knowledge in the languages and frameworks we teach through our bootcamps.

+ Must have a demonstrated ability to network, plan and host events, engage with audiences of all sizes, and build communities.

+ Must have substantial public speaking experience.

The Sr Web Developer is responsible for the development of Phoenix Children’s consumer-facing web properties and digital assets. Working with the Digital Services team, this position plans, designs and develops UX-focused solutions that support the company’s vision and goals. The Sr Web Developer helps identify new technology, vet out technical requirements and perform the implementation as needed while maintaining the day-to-day web development operations.
