This position is open to local candidates and Travelers.

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

+ Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers.

+ Installs OEM Equipment.

+ Participates in site safety programs to create a zero-hazard environment.

+ Works professionally and develops customer relations.

+ Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

+ Understands and adheres to all site fab protocol requirements.

Requirements:

+ 2-3 years experience on 200mm and 300mm tools.

+ Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

+ Maintenance Technician skills with solid experiences in resolving tool related challenges.

+ Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.

+ AS/BS or equivalent military.

+ Must be comfortable with being away/traveling for 6 to 8 weeks when required.

+ 80% travel/and or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required.

SCOPE: Under minimum supervision, perform planning, supervising, designing, and maintaining construction projects for the water and reclamation industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Projects:

+ Provides professional engineering and project management on a variety of waterworks projects simultaneously, from conception through completion, which involves developing project schedules, monitoring project progress and budget, preparing, and maintaining project files, monitoring quality of projects, and ensuring deadlines are met.

+ Projects include water infrastructure to private and public water utilities and mining clients including water master plans, wells, pipelines, storage tanks, pressure vessels, and water pump stations.

+ Provides effective and timely project communication, both orally and in writing, and ability to represent the company in meetings and presentations to municipal and private industry clients, other governmental agencies, utilities, and the public.

+ Exhibits the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

+ Leads the project team to execute projects on time and on budget.

+ Oversees the technical work products of staff and field engineers and others performing technical tasks to support water/reclamation projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

+ Respond and provide technical direction to customers regarding operational issues, firmware upgrades and general maintenance

+ Assess the customer’s product application, troubleshoot and diagnosis issues through research and/or re-creation to determine the root cause

+ Recommend solutions utilizing various levels of technical language appropriate to the customer in a timely, clear and professional manner

+ Maintain a communication link between customer service and other departments by partnering to resolve customer issues and communicating customer feedback to aid in design changes including customer “feature requests” to product managers

+ Support the development of product communications by generating or authoring customer guides and provide the technical writing group with information including Pinouts, FAQ, Application notes, Best Practices and customer product or system configuration and product integration with other manufacturer’s products

+ Install product(s) or systems at customer sites and delivering training to customers in-house or abroad

Qualifications:

+ Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Electronic Technician Diploma required

+ Direct experience with Server Hardware, Linux OS and Network setup is an asset

+ Similar experience will be considered an asset

The Tracked Products Engineering Heavy Structures team is currently seeking a Design Engineer for Electric Rope shovels and Draglines. In this position, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of the components along with strong manufacturing and supplier collaboration. Projects will include New Product Introduction (NPI), New Supplier Introduction (NSI), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI), and product maintenance.

**What you will do:**

This position will focus first and foremost on product and process quality with a zero-defect mindset while also trying to hit the program timeline and cost goals. The Design Engineer will need strong communication skills and great interpersonal skills to interact with other engineering teams, the platform team, purchasing teams, and manufacturing teams. Job duties include but are not limited to:

+ Create design concepts and drawings of complex structural systems that meet functional and technical requirements, cost and weight goals, quality initiatives, and manufacturing process requirements.

+ Perform fatigue analysis on the concept using Creo Simulate

+ Support validation activities such as test and field trials.

+ Support and lead APQP activities.
