+ Design and develop hermetic/ceramic/metal and RAD(radiation) tolerant / class P plastic package and interconnect methods for Renesas’s packaging needs in the areas of Commercial Space/ Aerospace, High Reliability power device packaging.
+ Package technologies tooling & qualification for Commercial Space/ Aerospace, High Reliability power applications.
+ Benchmark, select and qualify suitable materials, processes and assembly subcontractors (OSAT Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly & Test) or in-house assembly site (Palm Bay).

Qualifications

• 0-12 years of relevant experience in package development emphasizing hermetic/ceramic /metal and RAD tolerant / class P plastic package
• Preferred understanding of semiconductor hermetic\plastic IC assembly processes, materials and technology. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Knowledge of wire-bonding, flip chip, SPC(Statistical Process Control) and statistical analysis a plus.

Raytheon's Effector Power (EP) Team is looking for junior to mid-level engineers who have power electronics knowledge to help design robust power systems.
The Effector Power Department is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of Telemetry and Flight Termination products; power systems from all up round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides the analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors. Each of these products generally operate in lower power and voltage ranges less than 10kW and 1000V.
What You Will Do
+ Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion (and related analog) circuitry. This circuitry will dominantly involve non-isolated and isolated switch mode power converters and linear converters. Main emphasis is on board-mounted power end use applications.
+ Help to see circuit card development through its design phases, from requirements definition through initial integration testing.
+ Guide ECAD drafters through layout and routing activities, with moderate support from senior engineers. Assist in layer stackup definition.

Qualifications You Must Have
