POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Plant Manager and/ or Maintenance Manager, provide maintenance support and troubleshooting for both mechanical and electrical equipment ensuring the plant operates at the highest level of uptime and efficiency. Perform all maintenance functions within company defined Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines and sustain a clean and organized maintenance department
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
+ Adhere to all OSHA safety requirements as it relates to the duties of maintenance operations
+ Complete all required OSHA or corporate training courses as defined by management before conducting tasks
+ Wear proper PPE as required for the task at hand
+ Under the direction of the Plant Manager and/ or Maintenance Manager, perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities
+ Install, troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, filler lines, plant equipment or other devices required to maintain production uptime
+ Typical equipment includes, but not limited to: 1) process pumps, motors and mixing equipment, 2) pneumatic components, vacuum pumps and electrical control systems, 3) hydraulic components and control systems, 4) power transmission systems (gearboxes, chains, drives, etc), 4) piping, valves, filters and fittings 5) field instrumentation and controls, 6) PLC/DCS and VFD’s 7)Dust collection and conveyance systems 8) Compressed air systems, generators and all associated equipment
+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide supervisor or management a repair solution including parts list and timeline
+ Perform electrical tasks such as wring motors, VFD’s control panels or other low and high voltage equipment (480VAC 3PH)
+ Maintain maintenance shop/areas in a clean, organized, professional condition, following all safety requirements for hazardous materials
+ Keep all tools, power equipment, and other tools of the trade in a clean and safe working condition
+ Ensure all documentation for LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work and other related safety documents are completed before performing any work
+ Maintain effective and positive communication with production staff
+ Keep supervisors and management aware of pending issues and status of installation or repair
+ Coordinate preventative maintenance tasks on key plant equipment and ensure completion of those tasks

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

+ Experienced background troubleshooting/installing/repairing air pumps, PD Pumps, pneumatic valves, gearboxes and motors
+ Ability to install and wire 100 hp electric motors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, VFD’s
+ Exhibit a strong problem-solving aptitude when it comes to mechanical and electrical equipment
+ Employee must be able to safely lift in excess of 70 pounds multiple times without difficulty

About the maintenance technician position:
We’re looking for a talented maintenance technician who will be responsible for addressing an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager, and for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal of the assigned property.

**POSITION SUMMARY**
Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building. Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Enter and locate work-related information using computers. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

**The Role**
The Operations Technician (Network Operation Center Environment) will work in a challenging, hands on environment supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other specialized customers in support of National Cyber Protection System (NCPS) initiatives.
**The Main Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for fiber maintenance including installation, splicing, and testing of all fiber optic cable within multiple program networks.
+ Hands on technical support of routers, switches, servers, and firewalls in a Data Center and office environment.
+ Network troubleshooting and fault analysis; hardware troubleshooting and repair.
+ Develop and follow a MOP and anticipate problems, and proactively take corrective action.
+ Trouble ticket generation and response; customer interface and escalations.
+ Monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting Tier 12 events in switches, routers, and firewalls.
+ Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
**What We Look For in a Candidate**
Basic Qualifications:
+ Ability to effectively communicate with peers and customers
+ Must be willing to work Shift work 24x7 coverage, weekends, holidays and on-call rotation.
+ Must be familiar with the following Juniper (JunOS), Netscreen Firewalls SolarWinds, Cisco Networking Hardware.
+ Must have experience with application-level firewalls (proxies)
+ Clearance Active Top Secret (TS) with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret SCI (TSSCI).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the communications, networking or cybersecurity fields.
+ Understand layer 2 and layer 3 technologies (BGP, VLANs, Trunking, ACLs, IPSec, and L2TP).
+ Basic enterprise Linux skills, VMWare, SQL, and Basic Windows Server Administration.
+ Familiar with Network Monitoring tools.
+ Ability to work in a consultative manner with others, i.e., establish rapport, interview, fact-find, present options recommend solutions, follow-up and customer-focused behavior.
+ Proven ability to work in a dynamic team environment with changing requirements and competing priorities.
**Compensation**
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
