    Job Title: Collection ManagerJob Description

    The primary focus of this position is to supervise the branch/commercial collectors and assist in daily Q&A. Reporting to the Credit Manager, this role requires multitasking and working efficiently. The position encompasses a multitude of duties that vary from day to day.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist collectors with executing their key performance indicators and coach them to improve collection performance.

    + Drive adherence to the Collections Operating System for consistency in approach and escalation of difficult items.

    + Review, discuss, and plan the performance of collectors through key performance indicators and scorecards.

    + Responsible for hiring, monitoring, training, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining the collections team as required.

    + Ensure account assignment is completed and thoroughly worked.

    + Assist customers directly by resolving issues and removing obstacles preventing payment of outstanding invoices.

    + Handle projects and assignments from the Director of Collections to drive efficiency in the collections process.

    Essential Skills

    + 4 years of commercial collection experience

    + 2 years of supervisory experience in collections
