UCT is looking for a talented Welder IV to join us in Chandler, AZ!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives instructions, prints and work orders for the job. Plans details of working procedure and tools and, material requirements.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment.
Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.
Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Manual and machine TIG/MIG.
Understanding of the use of measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, tapes etc.
Qualified to read blueprints.
Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
Subject completed welding tasks to appropriate inspections.
Strong understanding of TIG/MIG welding procedures & processes.
Must have experience working with steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and AWS welding symbols.
Ability to perform welds that pass a visual inspection and destructive test.
Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, squares, rules and dial calipers).
Basic math skills; must be able to perform conversions and basic calculations.
Knowledge of welding machines and set up.
Ability to operate hand/air tools and electric grinders.
1 in Arizona this is considered a Safety Sensitive position
Educational/Certification Requirement:
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Two year vocational welding program or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
4+ years of experience in welding.

We are looking for an experienced fabricator/welder to join our team. Someone with solid skills who demonstrates excellent quality, production, teamwork, and safety.
Must be well versed in welding different thicknesses of material with a knowledge of steel, aluminum, and stainless materials including plate, round, and square tubing.
