In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will demonstrate or be developing skills in the following areas:

+ Hand tool basics: Familiarity with the proper and safe use of hand tools commonly used in preventive and corrective maintenance at semiconductor factories, including torque wrenches, drivers, Allen keys, wrenches and digital voltmeters (DVMs).

+ Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics and vacuum systems: Understanding how mechanical systems function, as well as reading mechanical schematics. Understanding basic types of actuations, such as pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical, as well as knowing how vacuum systems work in semiconductor manufacturing.

+ Math: Ability to apply math skills to aid in troubleshooting, building/fixing and statistics in semiconductors.

+ Electrical basics and electronics: Ability to safely work around electrical systems. Reading electrical schematics to trace the wiring from one component to the next for troubleshooting and rewiring bad components. Utilizing DVMs to perform a zero-volt check of a system.

+ Chemicals and gases: Understanding the different types of chemicals (acids, bases, toxic and flammables) in a fab environment and how appropriate personal protective equipment, procedures and safety systems can mitigate risk.

+ Industry knowledge: Knowledge about semiconductor fabrication (defects, contamination, process flow, tools and operations), safety (working with chemical/gases, electrical safety and lockout tagout practices), lean manufacturing, hand tools and cleanroom gowning.

+ A successful candidate must be willing to regularly lift loads up to 25 lbs., walk 3-5 miles and climb and perform work on ladders or at heights.

Handling CAT5 and CAT6 low voltage cable, installing cable on mounted trusses/j-hooks/strut material to connect to servers within a data center. Working inside the plant, may need to work on elevated work surfaces - ladders, scissor lifts, overhead fall protection. The Communications Technician I must learn and possess the skills required to function as a contributing member of a technical team. Typically, the Technician I possess no experience to one (1) year of experience in the structured cabling industry.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Communications Technician I will install a work area outlet for floor (i.e. monument), modular furniture (i.e. surface mount box) and wall (i.e. box eliminator). Drop cable down a wall using fish tape or other method. Route cable through modular furniture. Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables and determine length, slack and label cables. Suspend and support cable correctly: Cable tray, J-hook, D-rings, Bridal rings, Trapeze.

The Communications Technician I will build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.

The Communications Technician I performs fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and pull cable through sleeves and core penetration.

The Communications Technician I will terminate low-voltage devices.

The Communications Technician I will fully complete all paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).

The Communications Technician I adheres to and participate in all Company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.

**The Role**

+ Operates drilling equipment to complete assigned projects

+ Completes drilling in both standard and high-risk areas; with live utilities

+ Maintains a working knowledge of utility depths and placements

+ Ensures vehicles, equipment and tools are properly maintained, in good repair and secured in a safe manner

+ Reviews field designs, communicating discrepancies to supervisor for change orders

+ Properly documents all work completed to include pothole and bore logs

+ Performs conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed

+ Completes general restoration and cleanup

+ Completes all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders

+ Other duties as assigned

Requirements

+ 3+ years of directional drilling experience required

+ Ability to travel daily, ability to work outside of business hours when needed, overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends etc., in all seasons

+ Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

+ High level of energy, motivation and attention to detail

+ Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

HVAC Service Tech for company that handles service work and site maintenance for national accounts.

• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction

• Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.

• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location.

• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as need or requested by customers.

• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.

• Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness

• Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and complete repairs and maintenance service

• Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear. Notifies customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.

• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files

• Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact.

• Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need

• Records parts, material, labor, subs and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.
