Job Summary:

A Pool Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of swimming pools, spas, and associated facilities. This includes regular cleaning, chemical balancing, equipment inspection, and repairs. The role ensures that all safety standards and health regulations are met to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:
Skim, vacuum, and brush pools and spas to remove debris and maintain water clarity.
Clean and maintain pool decks, tiles, and surrounding areas.
Chemical Testing and Balancing:
Test water quality and add chemicals as needed to maintain proper pH and chlorine levels.
Document chemical usage and water test results.
Equipment Inspection and Repair:
Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
Perform minor repairs and report major repairs to the supervisor.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local health regulations and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and chemical usage.
Monitor pool area for safety hazards and address issues promptly.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer inquiries and concerns regarding pool facilities.

Inventory Management:

Facility Maintenance Technician Primary Responsibilities:

+ Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.

+ Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.

+ Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.

About the maintenance technician position:

We’re looking for a talented maintenance technician who will be responsible for addressing an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as specified by the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager, and for maintaining the highest standards in customer service and curb appeal of the assigned property.

The Mobile Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure that the building, equipment, and systems are properly maintained and operating efficiently. • Troubleshoots equipment or problems and reports to lead or supervisor

• Opens clogged drains and toilets using plumber's tools

• Makes and repairs counters, benches, cabinets, partitions, and other wooden structures using saws, braces, bits, and other carpentry tools.

• Installs glass in windows, doors and partitions

• Replaces damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, and wall coverings

• Installs items such as window coverings, rods, and door locks

• Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks

• Assists with test grounding and lighting arrest systems in production areas

• Performs routine vehicle/machinery maintenance

• Other duties as required

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• 2-4 years of related experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs

• Ability to obtain approval through BATF for access to work at all Plant locations

• Driving background checks required, ability to focus on detailed work with a 100% accuracy expectation of results

• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Ability to accurately write reports and speak effectively with other employees

• Proficient in ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

• High School or general education degree (GED).

+ Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer property securely and safely .

+ Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment .

+ Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used in removal and installations of major components .

+ Coordinate with other departments to arrange for the overhaul or repair of customer property as needed .

Additional Functions:

+ Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep shops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean .

+ Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment .

+ Coordinate movement of aircraft, as required. .

+ Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

+ Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.

+ Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.).
