**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

The Pharmacy Technician III directly assists the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications maintaining the drug inventory performing quality assurance activities and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Current California Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license required

+ National board certification for Pharmacy Technicians within ninety (90) days of hire

+ Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program or demonstration of satisfactory hospital experience in all aspects of drug preparation and drug distribution including sterile compounding.

+ Excellent oral and written skills

+ Computer skills

+ Ability to work independently with good organizational and project management skills

**Pay Range**

$32.31 - $42.17 /hour
