As the Marketing Operations Manager, you will directly collaborate with the broader Networking, Intelligent Cellular, and Security (NICS) marketing group, product marketing, sales, sales acceleration, and IT to configure and utilize Marketo for building and measuring marketing campaigns aimed at targeting existing customers and new leads, while also supporting the company’s revenue and pipeline creation goals by optimizing marketing automation processes. This person will act as the Marketo administrator, responsible for ensuring our marketing automation tech stack, processes, and database are best-in-class. This role requires expertise in marketing infrastructure, data governance, and compliance, with a focus on process improvement and analytics, working independently while contributing to the broader team.

**Responsibility details:**

+ Provide strategic insight to evolve the go-to-market strategy, aligning marketing and sales operations with business goals.

+ Optimize marketing processes, technology, and metrics for improved efficiency and results.

+ Oversee and manage the marketing tech stack, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data-driven outcomes.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, execute, and segment marketing programs that meet objectives.

+ Lead project management and execution of Marketo campaigns, including setup, triggers, tracking, testing, and deployment.

+ Develop and implement call to actions, engage orphan leads through targeted email sequences, and establish Marketo reporting to monitor initiatives.

+ Ensure data accuracy and system-wide governance through quality assurance.

+ Implement technology advances for data governance and continuous process improvement.

+ Manage Marketo programs, including automation, lead scoring, database hygiene, and lifecycle management.

+ Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on implemented technology solutions, supported by documentation.

**Primary Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience

+ 8+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing and communications

+ 3 to 5 years of experience configuring and using Marketo for marketing campaigns – building out, executing, monitoring, and reporting on marketing campaigns.

+ Demonstrated capabilities in managing large and complex audience segments & messaging sequences, as well as email and landing page best practices

+ Proficiency in lead management, including scoring, routing, and nurturing

+ Proven ability to improve campaign performance by identifying business opportunities in user data, campaign results, and cross-channel attribution

+ Deep understanding of the interactions between Marketo and CRM (preferably SFDC) data for reaching targeted customers

+ A demonstrated collaborative approach with effective internal and external communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)

+ Attention to detail and organizational skills, and effective project management and time management

+ High levels of integrity, autonomy, self-motivation, and independent thinking

+ Resourceful disposition, leveraging all resources both internal and external to complete a project

+ Ability to manage and prioritize several complex projects

+ Marketo Certified Expert is a plus
