**_(This role will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia)_**

This position is responsible for international sales and marketing of PTFI’s copper cathode and associated products from the Manyar smelting and refining business The position will report to the Head of International Sales PTFI and will be based in Jakarta.

**_Additional Responsibilities:_**

1. Together with the Head of International Sales, represent PTFI as the principal sales & marketing representative in the region outside Indonesia and be responsible for executing the copper sales plan in coordination and alignment with the sales and marketing goals of the company.

2. Work closely with the Sales Execution team to ensure customer and supplier contract obligations are met to the highest standards.

3. Actively assists in planning and developing the company’s sales strategy and vision.

4. Assist with Product Marketing of byproducts and coproducts as required.

5. Provide marketing analysis and market feedback to PTFI management.

6. Travel 50% of the time (+/-). This position will have a main responsibility for sales in the Asian region, so travel is a necessity.

7. Perform other duties as required.

**Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field or other degree combined with professional experience related to position responsibilities.

• At least ten (10) years of experience in metal mining marketing and sales or related disciplines including managing the sales processing activities or similar transactional business processes.

• Commercial business systems (SAP or similar) leadership or user knowledge base.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and is a self-starter.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other office business applications.

• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar.

• Work experience overseas and interacting with different cultures.

• Logistics and supply chain experience.
