We are seeking an additional Infectious Disease Physician to join our inpatient ID service in Bakersfield, CA.

**Responsibilities**
+ **Patient Care:** Provide care for patients with a broad spectrum of infectious diseases.
+ **Diagnosis and Treatment:** Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and clinical expertise to diagnose infectious diseases. Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
+ **Consultation and Collaboration:** Offer expert consultations to other healthcare professionals to assist in the management of complex or unusual infectious cases.
+ **Infection Prevention & Control:** Collaborate with hospital infection control teams to prevent, manage, and monitor hospital-acquired infections. Lead or assist in the development of institutional guidelines and protocols.
+ **Quality Improvement** : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
+ **Compliance** : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
+ **Continuous Learning** : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
**Qualifications**
+ A valid and unrestricted California medical license
+ Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
+ Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
**Pay Range**
$149.03 - $151.44 /hour
