**Responsibilities**
Responsible for supporting the effective and efficient utilization of the Cerner EMR Outpatient Registration and Scheduling applications by Imaging Services. Develops training materials and conducts orientation and training for all staff members. Performs quality assurance data collection and analysis and claims review providing feedback to staff and management as required.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum**
+ Within six months of hire complete: Medical Terminology course
+ Three years of experience in business processes
+ N/A
+ Demonstrates knowledge of the Revenue Cycle including but not limited to pre-registration admitting insurance verification insurance billing and data collection
+ Knowledge of third party payer requirements including federal state and private health care plans and authorization processes
+ Ability to create implement and deliver required training material
+ Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
+ Proficiency with registration computer applications
**Preferred**
+ Associate’s degree in business or related field
+ Three years of experience in medical or hospital setting
+ One year year admitting or scheduling experience in healthcare setting
+ One year of leadership/supervisory experience
+ Experience in training and staff development activities
+ Knowledge of registration system maintenance; Cerner registration/scheduling application experience strongly preferred
**Pay Range**
$19.73 - $27.13 /hour
