Material Handler - Level 1

Pay rate: $20.00/hr

As a Material Handler Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for the efficient and accurate movement of materials within our facility in Lincolnshire, IL. You will play a crucial role in assisting our production schedules and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our Lincolnshire, IL location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operations by ensuring the availability of materials for production. You will be accountable for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments

+ Store materials in designated locations and ensure proper organization

+ Retrieve materials as needed for production orders

+ Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts

+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

+ Stand for up to 8 hours

YOU MUST HAVE

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 6 months in a manufacturing environment

WE VALUE

+ Experience with inventory management systems

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Good communication and teamwork abilities

+ Ability to lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds and operate material handling equipment

+ Computer skills, SAP preferred
