The City of Chandler Mayor & City Council Office is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as aMayor & Council Community Engagement Support Clerk. This position is a temporary, part-time, non-benefited and serves at the discretion of the department director. This position is scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

Who we are
The City of Chandler Mayor and Council Office is a division of the Communications and Public Affairs Department. The Mayor and Council Office provides direct support to the Mayor, City Council, and City Departments including administrative, digital media, communications and public affairs functions. The division also coordinates citizens' requests for service, special event planning, event brief and talking point preparation, and oversees citizen community engagement programs, among other duties.
Who we are looking for
Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone with event planning experience and strong writing skills that will assist in creating talking points and event briefs for Mayor and Council and help facilitate our special events and community engagement programs.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GEDAny equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working with elected or appointed officialsSpecial events planning and management experience
