Job Description
As a Network Engineer, youll support IT and OT infrastructure at wind, solar, and battery sites, as well as data centers and corporate offices. Your tasks will include ensuring network security, configuring and optimizing networks, and designing network solutions. Youll manage hardware inventory, handle quarterly patching, and coordinate support tasks. Additionally, youll work on project planning, system enhancements, and support tasks for company's infrastructure. Youll install and support SCADA systems, document process gaps, and coordinate with vendors for new implementations and upgrades. Were looking for strong networking skills, particularly in routing and firewalls, with a focus on data center and corporate infrastructure. Cloud experience is also important to contribute to future projects.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, preferably Network Engineering
5+ years of IT network infrastructure design, development, testing, and deployment experience
3+ years of experience with installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
Knowledge of Layer 2 (Ethernet, Switching, VLAN, etc.), Layer 3 (BGP, OSPF, IPv4/IPv6), and Layer 4 (TCP, UDP) protocols
Proficiency in network implementations (Subnetting, LAN, VLAN, ACLs, etc.)
Familiarity with other networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, NAT)
Ability to travel up to 35% across the U.S.
Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation once a month Technical experience with SD-WAN.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks; NERC-CIP compliance experience is a plus.
Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
Systems administration skills, particularly in configuration management using NCM.
Experience with OSI Soft PI, Energy Management Systems, and Meter Data Management Systems.
Knowledge and experience with Energy Markets, Independent System Operators (ISO), and Transmission Operators. null
