**Responsibilities**

In keeping with the Dignity Health philosophy, the Patient Safety Attendant (Sitter) will provide observation of patients designated as risks of harm to themselves or others. The Sitter will provide non-clinical services related to comfort and safety of the patients they are assigned, understand the safety risks associated with the patients assigned, and be responsible for providing information about actions taken and/or incidents occurring while sitting with the patient. This position will work in cooperation with their assigned patient's nurse, Nursing Administration, and Security.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ BLS certification

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ One year nursing assistant and/or medical tech experience

+ Security Officer / Certified Nursing Assistant ceritifcation

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $25.49 /hour
