**About the job:**
Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Analog IC Layout Designer to join the Tucson Current Sensing team. In this position you will be expected to work closely with design engineers to drive layouts from start to finish. Knowledge of Cadence tool suite, analog layout, floor-planning, packaging and fabrication are required.

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Minimum education - bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
+ Minimum of 1+ years of layout experience using TI's proprietary processes.
+ Workplace location - Tucson Arizona, in-office / in-person.
**Qualifications:**
+ Experience with Cadence suite of tools: Virtuoso L / XL/EXL, Modgen, Assura, PVS, K2, etc
+ Full-custom circuit layout/verification and RC extraction experience.
+ Understand and implement constraint driven layout.
+ Good understanding semiconductor technology, process and device physics.
+ Knowledge of different packaging technologies.
+ Experience with ESD, Latch-Up, EMI, and antenna.
+ Understanding and implementations of good layout practices for matching, low noise, area savings etc.
+ Unix and Cadence database management skills.
+ Shell or other programming languages.
