Phoenix Children’s is hiring a full time RN to support 6 neurosurgeons and 6 APP’s in the clinic. You will be responsible for triage calls, reviewing referrals for appropriateness to the division, patient education , preparing orders for the surgeons to review and sign, monitoring in-basket email for the surgeons and follow through as needed. This role will also be involved patients who come into the clinic for wound checks and medication injections for spasticity. Incumbent will also review instructions and provide patient/family with any education on care of patient. This position is located at Main Campus (Thomas/20th St), and will be scheduled to work 5/8’s. NO Holidays; NO Weekends and NO Call! Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years as a nurse with strong multitasking skills, demonstrated critical thinking skills, and experience working in a team environment. NO New Grads, please.

This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum.
