Summary About the Position: This is a TEMPORARY PROMOTION position NTE 36 Months or 3 years. This position is a Temporary Promotion that can be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition. Serve as a 15M UAS Training Instructor (UAS) for the 2-13TH Aviation Regiment. The position is located at Fort Huachuca, Az with the US ARMY Aviation Center of Excellence. Responsibilities Present formal instruction to support TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction (POI) through lecture, conference, demonstration, and practical exercises. Serve as a Training Instructor for civilian and military personnel for Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Ensure that all training and operations forms and records are completed correctly and on time. Serve as a Training Instructor in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) required ground school aeronautical operations. Serve as a Training Instructor for civilian and military personnel for Army Gray Eagle Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) maintenance. Prepare for and responsible for the development of instructional materials. Administer authorized FAA examinations. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
