**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Pharmacy Delivery Optimization team oversees the safe delivery of millions of prescription packages annually. Our team creates and implements strategies around the shipping network to continually improve the experience of our patients and physicians while implementing expense reduction projects for the organization. We work cross functionally with all Evernorth pharmacies to create efficiencies and leverage best practices. The Delivery Optimization team manages the relationships with the leading carriers across the country and actively participates in the postage and shipping industry as one of the leaders in healthcare.
As the Operating Effectiveness Advisor, you will be responsible for the development of improvement initiatives and execution of strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies to the fulfillment and postage network. In partnership with site leaders, workstream owners and practice partners you will be expected to deliver results that align to the company mission and overarching strategy. In this position you will employee critical problem solving skills and must display an ability to act with little or no direction at times. A core component of this role will require data analytics, and creation of robust and interactive reporting that meets partner needs.
**This position is in-office aligned and will require the flexibility to perform onsite 3 days per week at a designated Cigna facility.**
**What you will do**
+ This role will be tactically engaged with the day-to-day operations of the shipping network and the operations of the CHD site.
+ Be highly organized, able to work with limited direct supervision, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, complete projects, and implement solutions
+ Have an ability to work cross functionally and manage complex scenarios
+ Reducing returns/damages to our pharmacy through innovative solutions
+ Developing pilots for alternate delivery methods that will reduce inflation pressure from our carriers
+ Creating and owning member experiences involving shipping of their medications.
+ Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Develop omni-channel solutions to inform members and provide guidance on the order status.
+ Become a trusted and collaborative partner demonstrating reliability
+ Develop and maintain relationships with leadership within our pharmacies
+ Collaborate with cross functional partners and stakeholders.
+ Responsible for resolving issues with package delivery
+ Be proficient with data analytical tools such as Tableau, SQL, Teradata, Excel, Access
+ Demonstrate comfort retrieving data/providing insights to leadership to aid in decision making using various systems and tools.
**Key Qualifications**
+ BA/BS degree preferred
+ 5 years relevant experience in related industry - i.e., pharmacy, supply chain, distribution operations, business, supply chain
+ Advanced Excel skills
+ Experience with Teradata, SQL, Tableau preferred
+ Ability to manage data and analytics and present technical findings to non-technical audience
+ Project/program management experience
+ Experience managing client and/or vendor relationships preferred
+ Strategic acumen, demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
+ Excellent communication (oral and written), facilitation, and presentation skills
+ Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, change oriented environment managing competing timelines/deadlines
+ Experience with SharePoint creation, management and utilization preferred
