**The Role**

This is a Senior Attorney position for a marketing attorney who is interested in joining a collegial legal team that together supports the marketing and advertising activity of the Enterprise business unit of Lumen, which includes a focus on communications, business services, internet services, traditional and new voice services, and related technology and third-party provided services. **The Main Responsibilities**

+ Reviewing marketing and advertisement materials

+ Supporting marketing offers and promotional initiatives

+ Developing and reviewing claim substantiation and supporting methodologies

+ Reviewing online, traditional, and social marketing and engagement

+ Conducting legal research on various subjects: drafting film releases; reviewing publicity clauses; reviewing corporate communications (including executive statements), and providing legal advice and counsel to clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership on applicable risks and strategies

**What We Look For in a Candidate**

+ Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, such as Federal Communications Commission and Federal Trade Commission regulations and developments, applicable state regulations, privacy rules, and National Advertising Division of the BBB, Inc. decisions, and maintain proactive awareness of relevant changes to ensure the ability to continue providing accurate legal advice.

+ J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

+ Current license to practice law in state where attorney’s office will be located or another state.

+ Minimum 4 years post law school and relevant marketing law experience; relevant in-house experience with a large organization or technology/telecommunications corporate environment is preferred.

+ Background must include direct experience reviewing and advising on marketing and advertising content; experience with a variety of marketing tactics and directly advising clients is preferred.

+ Excellent writing, drafting, and verbal communications skills.

+ Organizational, time-management and prioritization capabilities; able to manage workload independently, efficiently and with minimal supervision.

+ Able to negotiate, prioritize, and manage a consistently large volume of advertising review and associated issues.

+ Able to provide concise, contextually nuanced, and actionable feedback.

+ Must be a team player.

+ Sound business and legal judgment

**Compensation**

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.

$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.

$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
