**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Builds relationships and processes to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on strategic direction and key performance metrics, providing accountability for portfolio success through regular discussion and informed by reporting and analytics

+ Possesses deep understanding and in-depth knowledge of business objectives, key issues, competitive environments, and industry trends to help inform the creative strategy. Drives key senior client relationships by knowing their business inside and out, acting as their trusted partner

+ Drives new opportunities for organic and net new growth

+ Able to clearly articulate the agency's position during client presentations

+ Provide guidance and training to the rest of the account team

+ Fosters an environment where everyone feels supported and brave about ideas

+ Articulates macro business context to the team, and helps explain creative decisions to our partners

+ Leads regular portfolio business reviews with key partners

+ Ensures portfolio team delivers projects that are aligned with the client ask, on time/budget

+ Provides oversight for overall groups resources and workload balance and serves as an advocate for the team within Goldmind and Synchrony

+ Sets the tone for internal team dynamics, ensuring rapport and trust with all team members

+ Responsible for performance and growth for all direct reports

+ Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's degree; OR, in lieu of degree, a high school diploma and 11+ years of work experience in a brand/marketing/advertising environment in a creative leadership, account management or creative team management role

+ 7+ years of experience of integrated (multi-discipline) brand/marketing/advertising communications experience that includes:

+ Experience leading teams in a fast-paced agency environment

+ Experience managing direct reports

**Desired Characteristics:**

+ 12+ years of agency marketing experience

+ Clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to identify strategic needs of the client and their business, lead all aspects of planning with sound business recommendations and generate alignment with key business partners

+ Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key stakeholders and successfully managing relationship building dynamics and processes

+ Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

+ Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in high stakes situations

+ Track record of experience managing and mentoring team members with high integrity and ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward a common goal

+ Exceptional written communication skills that encompass clear, compelling communications

+ Highly articulate with outstanding presentation skills appropriate to C-level executive presentations

+ Self-motivated, goal oriented, persistent, and skilled at negotiation

+ Workfront knowledge a plus

**Grade/Level: 12**

The salary range for this position is **110,000.00 - 185,000.00** USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

**Eligibility Requirements:**

+ You must be 18 years or older

+ You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

+ You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

+ You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

+ New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
