**Job Summary / Purpose**
The Communications Operations Manager leads the development and execution of strategic communication plans, aligning messaging across all channels and optimizing workflows for efficiency. This role oversees content creation and distribution, manages communication technologies and budgets, ensures brand consistency and regulatory compliance, and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure communication effectiveness. Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the region and associated markets, the Manager ensures consistent messaging, alignment with company business strategies and objectives, and adherence to system standards, practices, and policies.
**Essential Key Job Responsibilities**
+ Create and manage system communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, town hall meetings, and digital platforms.
+ Manage annual communications plan that aligns with business objectives and integrates key messaging across channels.
+ Manage implementation of processes to streamline communication workflows, ensuring efficiency and consistency across teams.
+ Support planning, project management and execution of communication initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
+ Evaluate and optimize communication channels to ensure messages reach the right audiences effectively and efficiently.
+ Oversee content calendars, approval processes, and distribution strategies to maximize audience engagement.
+ Oversee communication platforms, content management systems, and collaboration tools to optimize team productivity.
+ Reinforce and uphold standards, best practices, and policies for communications, ensuring brand consistency and regulatory compliance.
+ Manage dashboards and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
+ Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee relationships with external agencies and technology vendors.
+ Develop training programs and resources to equip teams with the skills and knowledge to execute communication strategies effectively.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education, Skills and Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in communications operations, corporate communications, marketing operations, or related roles.
+ Experience developing and managing communication plans, processes and technology platforms
+ Background in managing communication channels, reporting and content distribution strategies
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Familiarity with related industries and operations-specific challenges.
+ Proven experience in developing and executing successful internal communication strategies.
+ Proficiency in digital communication platforms and tools.
+ Strong understanding of healthcare trends, regulations, and best practices related to strategic communications.
**Pay Range**
$44.73 - $64.85 /hour
