**Job Title: Inventory Specialist**

**Job Description**

This role involves supporting the order desk by engaging with walk-in customers and explaining the layout of stone slabs in the showroom. The position requires guiding customers through the showroom and physically showing them the slabs. Additionally, it involves tracking all incoming and outgoing inventory using the Warehouse Management System, Profit.

**Responsibilities**

+ Meet and greet walk-in customers and explain the layout of stone slabs in the showroom.

+ Guide customers through the showroom and physically show them the slabs.

+ Track all incoming and outgoing inventory using the Warehouse Management System, Profit.

+ Receive and manage load sheets, including data entry into the computer system.

+ Interpret and utilize Excel sheets for inventory tracking.

+ Maintain records of inventory movement and manage the system Profit for inventory creation and movement.

+ Support the order desk operations without requiring heavy lifting or maneuvering.

+ Answer phone inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

**Essential Skills**

+ 1+ year of experience in inventory or order desk operations.

+ 1+ year of computer experience, particularly in data entry.

+ Ability to read and interpret Excel sheets.

+ Strong customer service skills, including the ability to answer phones and greet customers.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in inventory control and cycle counting.

+ Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

+ Proficiency in warehouse inventory management.

**Work Environment**

Work in a warehouse environment as part of a national distributor of natural and manufactured stone, tile, and other solid surfaces. The role supports both commercial and residential applications. Hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, eventually shifting to 6 AM to 4 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM every third Saturday. The warehouse is closed on Sundays and holidays. Employees are provided with water, ice, Gatorade, and coffee. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, work jeans, and a plain t-shirt, with no heavy lifting required.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
