**Job Title: Electrician**

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced electrician to optimize electrical systems within our manufacturing processes. You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your role will involve conducting root cause analysis to troubleshoot electrical production issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will create and maintain electrical documentation, provide technical training, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Optimize electrical systems within existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

+ Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques to identify electrical bottlenecks and failure points and reduce waste.

+ Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot electrical-related production issues and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

+ Create and maintain electrical installation, test, and other documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications. Ensure SOPs are up to date for all electrical installations and safety protocols.

+ Provide technical training for production staff on electrical installation and processes, ensuring safe practices.

+ Ensure electrical processes adhere to safety standards and promote a safety-first culture.

+ Provide electrical expertise and recommendations to various departments, assisting with equipment selection, installation, and system improvements to align with production goals.

+ Participate in continuous improvement projects across cross-functional teams and multi-site operations to ensure best practices.

**Essential Skills**

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Journeyman Electrical certificate will be considered.

+ 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Specialist, Electrical Engineer, or Electrical Systems Manager within a manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, schematics & Bills of Materials to ensure accurate system design, installation, and maintenance.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle data and make data-driven decisions.

+ Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant process improvement frameworks preferred.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various departments.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

+ Knowledge of CAD and electrical design tools for creating schematics, system simulations, and equipment layout.

**Work Environment**

The work environment includes a modern, air-conditioned manufacturing facility equipped with industry 4.0 technology. Employees are expected to use Personal Protective Equipment and must be able to lift/move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb portable ladders. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are required.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Permanent position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
