**Job Title: CNC Programmer**

**Job Description**

This position is responsible for generating programs for various automated machining centers including sheet metal punching, laser cutting, and bending. The CNC Programmer will work closely with machine operators, production supervisors, and manufacturing and design teams to improve machine utilization, efficiency, and reduce material waste.

**Responsibilities**

+ Program various automated CNC machines such as sheet metal punches, lasers, press brakes, and tube lasers.

+ Improve machine utilization, efficiency, and reduce material waste.

+ Determine tooling requirements and maintain tooling database.

+ Prepare material requisitions.

+ Troubleshoot programming and DXF file errors.

+ Prepare documentation to support production.

+ Perform all other tasks related to this position.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in CNC programming, particularly with CNC laser cutting machines and punch machines.

+ Proficiency in Mastercam, particularly if familiar with Salvagnini machinery.

+ Experience with CNC laser routers that cut sheet metal.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Good troubleshooting skills and resourcefulness.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Working knowledge of Salvagnini programming (S4, L5, B3) is an asset.

+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
