Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Support test equipment hardware and software requirements planning, architecture development, and integration/startup of real-time computer and hardware in loop test laboratories.

+ Develop test equipment hardware and software architectures to support real-time distorted scene injection into flight hardware as part of test laboratory development.

+ Develop GPU software to predict and mimic flight condition scenarios in a real-time test environment.

+ Ensure that all software standards are met.

+ Collaborate effectively within a multi-discipline team environment.

Essential Skills

+ 5 years of experience in software development and hardware testing.

+ Proficiency in C, C++, C#, and/or Java in Linux and/or Windows environments.

+ GPU development experience within the past 2-3 years.

+ Possession of an Interim or Active DOD secret clearance.

Additional Qualifications

+ Experience in design, integration, and testing with real-time computer in loop and hardware in loop test laboratories.

+ Experience in developing interfaces to support weapon system integration efforts.

+ Familiarity with six degree of freedom simulation systems and integration of 6DoF simulation models into a real-time environment.

+ Experience with IR scene injection into electronics for processing in real-time embedded flight firmware/software.

+ GPU development experience for real-time constrained scene generation.

+ Experience working in an Agile framework and team environment.

Work Environment

This position requires working fully onsite in Chandler, AZ, in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
