**Position Description:**

This role can be located within proximity of any U.S. CGI office including Phoenix, AZ; Pittsburgh, PA; Atlanta, GA, Minneapolis, MN; Charlotte, NC; and Madison, WI. A hybrid work schedule may be supported.

This is a Lead architect and principal network engineering role supporting North America retail stores and Colo infrastructure consisting of approximately 8000 sites and 3 major colo environments and 3 cloud providers. Candidate must be experienced with Flex VPN and DMVP networks, Mega Port, Fortinet and Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco networking to include BGP and OSPF switching and routing protocols.

In this role you will be a part of a network team aligned with the client’s lead architect engineer to develop requirements and solutions for implementing complex networks and product upgrades. You will work with internal network engineers understanding their areas of expertise and aligning them to network project efforts. Primary focus will be:

• Project-oriented work including design, product selection, proposals, deployment strategies and execution

• Troubleshooting and resolving critical network incidents

**Your future duties and responsibilities:**

• Review technical data for products/ services being suggested by business partners and IT. Highlight deficiencies or changes required before product can be introduced to the environment

• Anticipate negative production and support ramifications and address concerns and solutions to minimize impact to business

• Provide guidance to management and other engineers on network architecture, standards and processes, both existing and new.

• Assist with developing proposals, strategies and cost estimates in support of support planning efforts collaborating with network engineers to design and implement functional company networks

• Install and configuring network hardware

• Creating and implementing network security measures

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role:**

• Cisco CCIE, CCNP level preferred

• 10 years proven network architecture experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300.00 - $190,100.00.

CGI expects to have this role open through 6/30/2025.
