Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-long-term position within the construction industry, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Manage check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.

• Enter and review data in accounting software with precision.

• Handle invoice processing and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable operations.

• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Assist with front desk duties as required to support the team. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable and invoice processing.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Newstar is nice to have.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Knowledge of coding invoices and managing check runs.

• Effective organizational and time-management skills.

• Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures.

• Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
