**Your role and responsibilities**

As a SAP PP Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.

You will work developing solutions that excel at user experience, style, performance, reliability and scalability to reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.

Your primary responsibilities include:

•Innovative Client Solution Design and Development: Design and develop client solutions that automate or improve existing systems as per business requirements and system functionality.

•Comprehensive Support for SAP PP Enhancements: Support end-to-end enhancements at multiple phases of PP aspects in SAP.

•Proactive Advocate for Continuous Improvement: Work within a continuous improvement framework, challenging ideas and finding solutions to problems.

This Job can be Performed from anywhere in the US.

**Required technical and professional expertise**

*

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

*

5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module implementation and support.

*

Strong knowledge of production processes, discrete or process manufacturing, and MRP logic.

*

Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA.

*

Familiarity with integration to other modules such as MM, SD, and QM.

**Preferred technical and professional experience**

*

Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.

*

Knowledge of SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) is a plus.

*

Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for production planning.

*

Understanding of SAP project methodology (e.g., ASAP, Activate).
