**In this role, you will:**
+ Design scalable and secure banking systems, leveraging proven cutting-edge technologies and best practices to deliver robust, reliable and compliant solutions.
+ Act as a technology advisor to engineering leaders on application, network, information security, database, operating systems, and web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs
+ Translate advanced technology experience, organization and business acumen, enterprise thinking, and complex technological opportunities into strategic technical engineering solutions
+ Lead technical design discussions and drive consensus on complex architectural decisions
+ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a teams of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence
+ Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs
+ Contribute to the development of engineering best practices, coding standards, and development workflows
+ Identify and resolve critical technical challenges through innovative problem-solving
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system reliability, security, and performance
+ Participate in strategic planning to align technology roadmaps with business objectives
+ Evaluate and recommend new technologies to maintain competitive advantage
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: systems, applications, or architecture planning, sequencing and modernization
+ 3+ years of Financial Services industry experience
+ 3+ years designing technology solutions for partner software development teams; acting as Strategic Advisor
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge and experience with consumer banking solutions, preferably in Debit Card technology
+ Experience in Cloud, Data, DevSecOps, Domain Driven Design, C4 or Archimate, Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF), and Agile
+ Ability to design at multiple levels of the technology stack, from high level enterprise architecture down to application component design and physical deployment strategies
+ Research and analysis including Competitive Analysis and evaluation of third-party technical products
+ Architecture strategy and road mapping
+ Adaptive communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of business and technical teams
+ Ability to partner with many different platform engineering and architecture teams on architecture that spans multiple areas; connect teams together
+ Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
+ Establish trusted relationships and provide mentorship to other architects and engineers
**Job Expectations:**
+ Ability to travel up to 20%

**Compensation Range:**
+ All locations: $144,400 - $300,000
