As an Advanced Software Engineer - Site Reliability Engineer here at Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software systems. You will be accountable for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the smooth operation of our cloud-based applications.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our software systems. You will leverage your expertise in site reliability engineering to implement best practices, monitor system performance, and proactively identify and resolve issues. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and tools necessary for the smooth operation of our cloud-based applications
+ Work with development teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software systems
+ Implement and monitor system performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues
+ Drive continuous improvement in system reliability and operational efficiency through automation and process enhancements
+ Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues
+ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering
**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
+ Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk
+ Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
+ Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
+ Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies
**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
