Job Title: Manufacturing Quality EngineerJob Description
Join our dynamic team and work closely with the Corporate Technology Team to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that monitor, correct, and improve safety, quality, and productivity. Collaborate across departments to enhance APEL through waste reduction and productivity improvement initiatives. Assist in developing technical and operating capabilities and support preventive maintenance functions to ensure equipment availability and reliability. Engage with the Technical Team to conceptualize, develop, test, and implement cutting-edge technology, while maintaining industry partnerships to stay current with best practices. Take on the role of project manager for manufacturing engineering activities, ensuring adherence to program plans, resources, budgets, and schedules. Identify key process inputs and implement standardized systems to maintain control and capability.
Responsibilities
+ Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, quality, and productivity.
+ Collaborate with departments to improve waste reduction and productivity.
+ Assist in developing technical and operating capabilities.

+ Conceptualize, develop, test, and implement technology with the Technical Team.

Essential Skills
+ Experience in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
+ Proficiency in lean principles and supplier management.
+ Knowledge of machining, automated equipment, and quality standards.
+ Ability to write work instructions and documentations, including SOPs.
+ Experience with AutoCAD and process design implementation.
+ Understanding of equipment reliability and manufacturing development.
+ Proficiency in project management and automation.
+ Experience in Six Sigma and root cause analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience writing SOPs or work instructions in school or work environments.
+ Participation in Kaizen events or 5S methodologies.
+ Established quality control processes using PPAP, PFMEA, or Control Plans.
+ Incorporated Lean principles into layout planning using AutoCAD.
+ Established KPIs and maintained equipment reliability with vendors.
Work Environment
The position involves working 50% on the factory floor and 50% desk work. The environment is dirty and industrial, with hot conditions. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional travel required at 5%.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
