Our Tempe based manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and reliable Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for full time employment. LTL shipping experience is a plus but not required. Using computers and internal software, the coordinator will schedule and process shipments. They will work with the sales team to coordinate shipments. Packaging and inspection of product will also be required. Working in a high volume, fast paced environment, this position will assist our Production Department in the manufacturing of foam insulation and foam acoustic products. This role will pack, inspect and calculate weights/dimensions of prepared products for shipment purposes. Responsible to schedule, calculate time, weight and costs, pack and ship freight orders.

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator must demonstrate the ability to follow directions and routines, work independently with appropriate judgment. Exhibit spatial awareness, read words and numbers, use basic math calculations and concentrate, memorize, and recall. Identify logical connections and determine sequence of response, and process up to 2-3 steps ahead. Ability to attend work on a regular, predictable and consistent basis. Ability to commute to and from work safely and arrive at work on time. Day shift, 5:00am to 3:30pm (9hrs) Monday - Thursday and 6:00am to 10:00am Friday (4hrs), when overtime is needed.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities:

· Operate computer to create shipments, get quotes, and create labels.
· Operate internal software to process orders.
· Work stations, require ability to stand and ability to sit for several hours.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Understand English job specifications, drawings, work instructions, and ensure conformance.
· Basic math skills, measurements, frequent use of measuring tools for production.
· Schedule, calculate time, weight and costs, pack and ship freight orders.
· Document actions by scanning in and out of production job traveler and quality control documents.
· Work to applicable performance and quality standards.
· Take instructions from supervisors and production manager.
· Able to work effectively in a team environment.
· Report visual and audible equipment faults to supervisors.
· Should be able to comfortably lift up to 49 LBS repeatedly throughout day shift
· ISO, LEAN or other quality system experience a plus.
· Forklift certified a plus.

10 Hour Day shift - Monday to Thursday (5:00 am - 3:30 pm) with 1/2 hour lunch
Off most Friday's, Saturday's & Sunday's unless help is required.
Compensation:

$18.00 - $20.00

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to airborne particulates, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The noise level can be loud at times. Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This position involves a variety of repetitive processes such as insertion of materials, alignment by hand and rotating fixtures by hand. The position also involves sitting, talking and, hearing throughout the day. The employee must also be able to safely lift up to 49 pounds or less repeatedly during the 8-10hour shift.
