Existing Automation Equipment:
• Configure, repair, and support automated assembly and test equipment in a hybrid manufacturing cleanroom.
• Optimize the programming of automated systems to improve repeatability, reliability, and product yields
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve methods, materials and cost of the production of the products
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment on a regular basis to ensure reliability of the process
• Respond quickly to resolve issues and problems with equipment and processes on the manufacturing floor
• Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed at all times
• Support the manufacturing operation at the direction of the Director of Operations
Next Generation Automation Equipment:
• Prepare automation equipment for production operation readiness, including but not limited to pre – conditioning runs and eccentricity checks
• Ensure automated systems are set to regulation parameters, meet quality standards and all production goals.
• Ability to review automation equipment blueprints and verify against actual equipment to highlight any deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot, problem solve, relieve operators, apply solution as required or requested and ensure processes are running within the predetermined control parameters. This will include making adjustments within allowable limits and/or evaluating operator techniques and/or evaluating materials to assure acceptable products
• Develops, recommends and implements corrective action to improve efficiency.
• Develop work instructions and training manuals for production technicians and operators to ensure that appropriate procedures are being followed during day – to – day execution.
