**Keep Aerospace Manufacturing Precise and Compliant**

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **CMM Operator/Programmer** to support metrology and inspection operations for high-performance aerospace components. In this role, you’ll ensure measurement accuracy and calibration precision—directly impacting production quality and customer satisfaction.

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Calibrate and repair Inspection, Measurement, and Test Equipment (IMTE).

+ Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for inspecting fixtures and tooling.

+ Perform dimensional inspections using gage blocks, micrometers, calipers, and thread/ring gages.

+ Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan testing and calibration sequences.

+ Ensure traceability to NIST standards and maintain detailed calibration/test records.

+ Revise, troubleshoot, and update CMM programs; assist with new product setups.

+ Conduct measurement system evaluations (Gauge R&R, correlation studies).

+ Maintain compliance with ISO9001, ISO17025, Z-540, AS9100, and other quality standards.

+ Support process improvement initiatives and preventative maintenance activities.

+ Participate in safety and quality-focused work culture.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Associate degree, equivalent experience, or technical certifications.

+ 4+ years of hands-on experience in CMM operation/programming.

+ Certified or proven experience in Coordinate Measuring Machine use.

+ Skilled in GD&T, IMTE troubleshooting, and calibration.

+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 6+ years of CMM and metrology experience.

+ Military PMEL/TMDE/Metrology training preferred.

+ Familiarity with Zeiss CMM software and Siemens NX.

+ Proficiency with Cal QC, Minitab, and GOM software.

+ Expertise in dimensional calibration and formal CMM programming training.

+ Working knowledge of Y14 GD&T specifications.

**Pay Details:** $33.65 per hour
