Job Title: Civil Engineer - Water & SewerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer with a focus on water and sewer projects. This role requires a professional with 4 to 12 years of experience who can provide both strategic and operational support to service center managers across the organization. The position involves designing and supervising construction projects, which may include water and wastewater systems, land development, and transportation based on the needs of the Service Center.

Responsibilities

+ Design and supervise construction projects related to water, wastewater, land development, and transportation.

+ Estimate costs, personnel, and material needs for various projects.

+ Conduct studies and prepare comprehensive written reports for clients.

+ Lead projects and supervise other engineers, E.I.T.s, drafters, and field personnel.

+ Participate individually or as part of a team for larger scale projects.

+ Exercise creativity and latitude in project execution.

+ Assist in business development efforts and prepare statements of qualifications and proposals for potential clients.

Essential Skills

+ Civil engineering knowledge, particularly in sewer and water systems.

+ Experience with land development, stormwater, site development, and civil design.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

+ Grading and drainage design expertise.

+ Professional engineer certification.

+ Project management skills.

+ Transportation and municipal engineering experience.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to develop talent.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $75.00/hr.
