**Job Title: Production Manager**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize our production operations. This role involves planning and scheduling to achieve production goals, allocating resources effectively, and maintaining production key performance indicators (KPIs). The Production Manager will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth transitions of new products and manage production documentation accurately, ensuring traceability and adherence to work instructions.

**Responsibilities**

+ Plan and schedule production activities to meet goals.

+ Allocate resources including personnel, materials, and equipment effectively.

+ Monitor and maintain production KPIs such as yield, quality, efficiency, productivity, and failure rates.

+ Collaborate with engineering for seamless integration of new products and changes.

+ Ensure production documentation is accurate and traceable.

+ Maintain up-to-date production work instructions following the development, review, and approval processes.

+ Uphold strict adherence to quality control standards and production procedures.

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

+ Work with the manufacturing engineering team to enforce maintenance schedules and ensure equipment functionality.

+ Establish and analyze production metrics to identify improvements and generate management reports.

**Essential Skills**

+ 5+ years of production management experience.

+ Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.

+ Proficient in production management, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.

+ Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.

+ Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering.

+ Strong understanding of electromechanical assembly processes.

+ Proven experience in process optimization and manufacturing best practices.

+ Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, production planning, and inventory control.

+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

+ Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.

+ Knowledge of OSHA standards.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in laser manufacturing or precision optics is a plus.

+ Knowledge of CO2 laser technology or optics is a plus.

+ Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing a production team.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
