**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**

**Job Description**

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will play a vital role in building heavy industrial parts for dump trucks from the ground up. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently troubleshooting and installing mechanical items on dump trucks and trailers.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install mechanics and troubleshoot mechanical items on dump trucks and trailers.

+ Perform basic welding and air systems operations.

+ Conduct console and pump installations.

+ Handle hydraulics and pneumatics tasks.

+ Execute large assembly installations, such as tanks and saddles.

+ Perform body electrical outfitting.

+ Read service and repair manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

+ Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

+ Utilize power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinders, and other equipment.

+ Weld in flat and vertical planes.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a mechanical field with hydraulic system repairs.

+ Basic understanding of air systems and operations.

+ Wrenching experience and electrical troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to read a tape measure and calculate measurements.

+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

+ Comfortable using power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinders, and air tools.

+ Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs.

+ Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.

+ Ability to read blueprints or schematics.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
