Our client, a leader in aerospace technology, is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer, you will be part of the APU Control Systems department supporting critical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Sr Advanced Systems Engineer

**Location:** Phoenix, AZ

**Pay Range:** $68.75/hr

**What's the Job?**

+ Lead and manage all aspects of APU control systems engineering, focusing on electronic control units and airborne electronic hardware.

+ Design and integrate components ensuring compliance with Honeywell drawing and governing requirements.

+ Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and project engineering regarding LRU development and project milestones.

+ Oversee test plans and procedures, ensuring thorough execution and data analysis for qualification.

+ Collaborate across disciplines to drive growth and achieve critical business milestones.

**What's Needed?**

+ Experience in developing components for gas turbine engines.

+ Familiarity with Mil standard or DO-160 Qualification.

+ Proven ability to develop requirement or product specifications.

+ Experience working with suppliers to develop build-to-spec products.

+ Knowledge of relevant keywords such as Wire Harness, Surge control valve SCV, and Fuel Control Unit.
