    **Minimum requirements:**

    + Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

    + 10+ years of experience in market analysis, product definition, and specification development for gas sensor technologies

    Senior Systems Engineer (CICS/Assembler)

    **About your role:**

    You will provide senior-level CICS/TS technical support (installation, implementation, administration, and maintenance) for all Fiserv IBM mainframe-based CICS/TS solutions supporting Fiserv’s Issuing, Acquiring, and Payments clients globally. This support includes working and supporting internal and external clients using IBM’s CICS/TS solutions and work with other mainframe-based technical teams in a high availability and global environment.

    **What you’ll do:**

    + Installation, implementation, performance, testing and integrity of a large IBM CICS/TS implementation to ensure optimum performance and availability

    + Supporting and maintaining custom Assembler code

    + Work with Development, Operations, and other technical teams on new and existing CICS/TS project implementations

    + Assist with the development and maintenance of CICS/TS standards and roadmaps

    + Providing dump analysis and problem determination of root causes related to system problems and outages including storage violations and participate in Disaster Recovery exercises

    + Working with computer operations to quickly resolve incidents and automate operational processes such as IPLs, Cold Starts, and dump processing

    + Ensuring High Availability and performance objectives, as required by customers and management are maintained for operating systems and for software components and provide on call support on a rotational basis

    + Administration using IBM and Independent Software Vendor products including monitoring and automation tools and configuration and administration of CICSPlex and CICS Explorer

    **Experience you’ll need to have:**

    + 7+ years hands-on experience supporting CICS/TS in large IBM z/OS Mainframe environment

    + 7+ years of In depth working knowledge of IBM Assembler and REXX required

    + 5+ years of experience with mainframe software installation, maintenance and support

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience

    **Experience that would be great to have:**

    + Thorough understanding of security requirements for TLS

    + Previous experience with Vision Plus or IBM MQ is desirable

    These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
