This position installs, repairs, inspects, and maintains the university gas appliances, meters, regulators, and distribution lines to ensure they are operating effectively. Inspects gas system processes, identifies areas for improvement within department, and makes necessary adjustments. Salary

Job Summary:
Engineering Technician responsible for Diffusion/Cleans in a high-volume manufacturing facility. The position will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Identification and reduction of recurrent machine faults
Reduce defectivity
Developing and writing specifications
Improving tool utilization and availability
Train technicians and peers
Improve cost performance
Specify, source, and qualify new equipment and parts
Participate on and/or lead cross functional teams
Support development and transfer activities
Reducing cost
Reducing scrap / Improving yield
Reducing cycle time

Key Challenges:
Ability to work in a high volume 24x7 manufacturing environment
Ability to work individually, in small work groups or larger teams

Willing to adjust work schedule as needed to support factory priorities 24x7

Job Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in engineering or science is required or comparable number of years of work experience
5+ years previous applicable high volume semiconductor manufacturing experience is desirable
Previous experience on a combination of the following processes/equipment is highly desirable
Furnaces - VTR7000, AVP8000, TEL Alpha
Wet Benches - SCP9400, Screen WS-820L
Cleaning Systems – Semitool SST, SAT Raider, Screen 80B/Nanospray
Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment and process performance data and produce a timely action plan to resolve recurring failures
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A desire to work in a team environment and to create a positive work environment
Good knowledge of Diffusion/Cleans processes and equipment
Good knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Good knowledge of Fault Detection and Classification (FDC)
Good knowledge of Lean principles and Lean Manufacturing techniques
Good knowledge of FMEA’s and 8D methodologies

This Field Service Technician Role is a dynamic, fast paced, and exciting new opportunity! This position allows you to travel and meet new people while at the same time working on world class specialty gas and chemical deliveries systems, manufactured in our corporate factories.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be working at customer locations across the U.S. and possibly some international locations. Basic job duties include installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of GasGuard, ChemGuard, and Poly Flow delivery systems and associated support systems including Pumps, distribution piping, and exhaust systems.
Responsibilities include:
Preform pre-task planning and equipment condition analysis prior to starting any work
Empowered to Stop the Job and escalate
Responsible for completion of customer requested tasks
Audit equipment and maintenance areas according to quality and safety standards
Ensure processes and procedures are followed
Report quality and safety issues immediately via the escalation process
Takes ownership of NCE events and the RMA process to address equipment concerns in a timely manner
Complete all Field documentation accurately and submit for invoicing at the completion of the task
Provide solutions to the customer for equipment configuration, maintenance, and operation
Physical Attributes:
80% of walking throughout the facility (5-6 miles per day)
Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection)
Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)
Bending of the knees and overhead reaching
Able to recognize and respond to safety alarms
Be capable of traveling 85% of the time

1+ years' experience as a Megasys Technician Level III or other Industrial / Semiconductor experience
1+ years' experience with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) experience
Valid US Passport
Valid Driver’s License with no infractions over the past 36 months
Preferred Qualifications:
Computer skills
5+ years of experience working in or at Semiconductor fabs
Strong mechanical and electrical skills (including Low voltage and signal wiring (AC/DC))
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
