**Job Description**
As a Welder, you will be responsible for the general fabrication of mechanical parts using pneumatic or electric hand tools. You will perform tasks such as deburring or surface preparation of metal parts, while following both written and verbal work instructions. You must interface with the enterprise timekeeping system and machine controls, and use basic machine shop measuring equipment such as dial calipers, tape measures, and protractors.

We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of **Mechanic Welder** at our power plant facility located **in Springerville, AZ.** The Springerville Generating Station operates four coal-fired units with a combined generating capacity of over 1600 megawatts of power. An employee in this classification will normally perform as a Maintenance Mechanic II and will use his/her welding skills as called upon. This position must be certified in all types of welding required for maintenance and repair in a steam generation facility.
