Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will be:
Working in our Manufacturing Command Center (MCC) using intelligent systems to drive the automated activities on the production floor.
Some duties require working in our clean room environment, where you will wear a clean room garment (protective eyewear, gloves, a hood, and a mask) to protect the wafers from outside particles.
Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures.
Work with supporting module on actions to bring the process/tools back to baseline.

Shift expectations:
TSMC Arizona operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This position requires candidate to have ability and willingness to work any shift (day or night) in a compressed work week schedule once training is done. The compressed work week shift structure is Work 4 days on, 3 days off for one week and 3 days on, 4 days off the next week. Shift is 12 hour shifts from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Module Process Technicians are responsible for monitoring wafer manufacturing process, process analysis, and collaborative solutions. Module Process Technician: process technicians working in engineering departments, such as CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition), PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), LIT (Lithography), ETC (Etch), EPI (Epitaxy), DIF (Diffusion), CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polish), YED (Yield Excellent Department), ME (Metrology).

Position Overview:
Work in an office-based operations environment, multitasking up to 25 online manufacturing systems and data analysis, rather than physical hands-on operations of equipment.
Carrying personal mobile phones and data storage devices are strictly prohibited upon entry. All personal items must undergo X-ray inspection at entrance and exit screening for carrying prohibited items in protection of intellectual property of the company.
The work environment for this position is determined by the supervisor. While the position is primarily office-based at a computer workstation, it may require some works in a cleanroom environment in the Fab.
The position is primarily responsible for monitoring wafer processing, responding to alarms, analyzing the situation, following SOPs to handle all kinds of real-time issues, and documenting related works in proper reporting format and template.
You will be expected to be fluent in using MS-Office products (including Excel/ Word/Outlook/ PowerPoint) and you will be required to learn to be fluently using handover system, wafer-related systems, or other home-grown systems.
Work with the team and leadership to manage production efficiency/quality by leveraging procedures, supporting SOPs and identifying bottlenecks/issues to create solutions that support production goals.
At the same time, responsible for the handover content and summarizing the problems encountered during the handover.

Based on the department and the role, you may be asked to be on a Compressed Work Shift, which is based on 12-hour/day and 3 or 4 days/week schedule.

Makes recipe adjustments to ensure correct gas/chemical concentrations are blended for factory tools.
Sets up and adjusts indicating and controlling devices, for example gas/chemical analyzers, temperature indicators and pressure/flow controlling devices, or gauging instruments to facilitate simultaneous analysis and control of process conditions.
Observes gauges, signals, and recording instruments, turns valves, and moves controls to regulate temperatures, pressures, and flow of steam.
Performs preventive maintenance procedures at specified intervals to keep process equipment clean, and performing at optimum levels.
Performs diagnostic and troubleshooting practices to determine root cause and corrective actions needed to maintain systems operation within specifications.
Performs emergency and corrective maintenance actions to repair damaged equipment or correct out of specification conditions.
Draws samples of product at specified stages of operation and performs pH, gas/chemical analyses, or other standard tests to determine if material concentration or quality is within factory specifications.
Maintains log of gauge readings, shift throughput, and equipment malfunctions.
Patrols area to inspect equipment for leaks and hazards and to record tank levels and gauge readings.
Ensures processing conditions and process output are within regulatory limits.
Responsible for correcting conditions and alerting management of discrepancies
Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of equipment systems are met, and equipment operations, repairs, modifications, and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.

They will read and measure plant operating parameters to determine process changes required to maintain operations within specifications.
Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workplace.
Starts automatic feed of solid and liquid materials through equipment units, including heating and cooling vessels, mixing tanks, ion exchange beds, and filter presses.
Operates and controls pumping systems, pH controls, heat exchanger bulk chemical systems and filtration equipment.
Adjusts controls to regulate feed of liquids and gases through equipment in specified timing and sequence, or starts automatic feed.
Sets up and adjusts indicating and controlling devices, for example gas analyzers, temperature and flow controlling devices, or gauging instruments to facilitate simultaneous analysis and control of process conditions.
Observes gauges, signals, and recording instruments, turns valves, and moves controls to regulate temperatures, pressures, and flow of steam, coolant, and chemical constituents through system to effect prescribed reaction within critical limits.

Draws samples of product at specified stages of operation and performs temperature, pH, gas-analyses, or other standard tests to determine if reaction process is proceeding efficiently and in conformity with plant standards.
Observes color or consistency of product through sight glasses, and correlates observations with test results, laboratory analyses, and instrument readings to facilitate regulation of process and production of standardized output.
Maintains log of gauge readings, shift throughput, and equipment malfunctions.
Patrols area to inspect equipment for leaks and hazards and to record tank levels and gauge readings.
Ensures processing conditions and process output are within regulatory limits. Responsible for correcting conditions and alerting management of discrepancies.
Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of equipment systems are met, and equipment operations, repairs, modifications, and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.

We are looking for AMHS Handling System Technicians to join our upcoming 4-nanometer fab in Phoenix, Arizona. You will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability, enthusiasm, and will possess an attitude that embodies TSMC’s core values – Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering process and stay informed of any changes in procedures.
Recover tool condition from regular maintain or trouble shooting to provide high quality production line.
Oversee AMHS device installation and qualification testing.
Sustain and improve the performance of AMHS devices in cleanroom environment.
Conduct hand-carry of wafers when necessary.
Work in a startup business culture

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Associate of Science degree (AAS)
3+ years of experience in a mechanical, maintenance or manufacturing setting, working with electrical machinery, preventative maintenance, installation, and collaborative teams.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation.
Ability to work under a compressed work-week schedule, days, or nights.
Committed, attentive, positive, multi-tasking attitude, and ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment in PPE coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glass and gloves.
Able to wear clean room suit while standing and/or walking for a 12-hour shift in the FAB as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous or current AMHS experience.
Semiconductor manufacturing experience.

Minimum Physical Demands:
Carrying ladders from on duty area to area that needs work.
Ability to reach above shoulder level and move a FOUP from a storage location to a cart, up to 40 lbs. in weight.
Extend arms above shoulder level for extended periods of time to install/move barcodes, E84 heads, and other AMHS material.
Work in a confined space (less than 4 feet) to recover vehicles at the AMHS highway level.
Work requires movement on hands and knees, to include bending, stooping, walking over periods of time.

As a Field Service Technician, you will:

Represent the NCR Atleos brand by being the first line of response on-site at our customers’ locations. Problem-solve at a basic module level (FRU), organize and plan your time effectively, and know when and to whom to escalate issues to. Apply the knowledge that you learn during your on-the-job training to resolve task related problems in straightforward situations emphasizing on manual skills. **What you’ll do as a Field Service Technician I:**

+ Follow Safety and Security Procedures when working on ATMs. You will learn this on Day 1.

+ Complete NCR Atleos specific Trainings and Certifications on our training website.

+ Diagnose problems based on the error logs from the ATM and information provided from our service app using a company provided cell phone.

+ Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors.

+ Responsible for accurate and prompt reporting of updates and details of the work performed at the ATM, including call closure details.

+ Maintain parts inventory and related records.

+ Accurately reporting hours worked and miles driven daily.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Must reside in the specified geographic area.
