Summary:
As a Production Worker, you will perform production tasks while maintaining a high production pace in all areas of production.
Key Responsibilities:

The Assembler perform a series of basic operations using a variety of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to properly assemble sheet metal aircraft components. Inspect completed work for conformance to Production Planning, verbal and written instructions, sketches and specifications. Grow into performing a variety of operations including welding, assembly, and inspection of sheet metal aerospace components while working in a fast-paced environment

*Using hand and power tools, scribe, grind, punch, deburr, fit, and drill a variety of sheet metal detail parts, sub-assemblies or complete units by adjusting alignment and mating pieces to ordinary tolerances.
* Prepare parts for loading into furnace, including wiping and final cleaning as necessary.
* Evaluate load configuration, load on racks or grids for economical batch size and furnace hot zone limits.
* Manufacturing load thermocouples.
* Perform spot-welding, seam-welding, poke tacking and braze preparation.
* Perform repairs such as weld defects, assembly anomalies, dents and scratches.
* Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gages and other inspection tools or fixtures.
* Ensure dimensions and finishes meet required tolerances and standards against sketches, blueprints, manufacturing planning and specifications.
